Best Shampoo for Psoriasis
Posted last sunday
Its sunday again! I am really sorry for not updating this blog for nearly a week now. Just got really busy at
the hospital these past few weeks. In this post, we will be talking about best shampoo for
psoriasis and an update on Dermasis.
Psoriasis is a condition wherein you are going to have it for your whole life; it is an inflammatory, chronic
and is a common skin disease that is exemplified as an oval to circular shaped for some that is shown to be red,
inflamed and has scales that is colored silver.
Sidenote: If you want to check out my review of the top 3 psoriasis products that I use, you can use this link to go to that post.
Primarily, the goal of any psoriasis shampoo is to give out an optimal health to the hair and to manage the
excessive flaking of the scalp. There are multiple shampoos that are out in the market, such as those that are
botanical extract in nature that reduces oil production and accumulation thus then decreased the inflammation.
I have met my friend Christen during my walk in the park last week and she told me about her condition that has
been bothering her because it is under her hair. She was telling me about how psoriasis shampoo has been very
essential to relieve her irritated skin.
She have mentioned some particular remedies for it such as Emu Oil and The Dead Sea Shampoo that are among the
many specialized products that have been recommended to clients with scalp psoriasis.
This shampoo is not only for oily hair but could also help in invigorating the scalp and hair roots especially
to Christen; she was telling me how combination of The Dead Sea mud, minerals and emu oil brings great relief to
her scalp psoriasis condition.
Emu oil has also been used in most of the hair products because it actually soothes the scalp, which also has an
anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial property thus making it called as the best shampoo for psoriasis
formulations.
Christen have also mentioned about how certain soaps worsen her condition and made her skin more dry. As far as
soaps would go, she was mentioning about cleansers that are liquid based.
Scalp psoriasis treatment has been difficult for Christen at first because most of the treatments are ointments,
which are really messy, or on the other hand, alcohol-based, which then potentiates the dryness of skin.
Not to forget, she also considered dermasis psoriasis treatment for her condition and prior to disbelief, the
treatment was effective in less than a month of using it.
